Community antenatal care (C-ANC)
The interventions identify and register new pregnant mothers and provide antenatal care – ANC within the community. It targets mothers and girls in their reproductive ages. The approach volunteers distributed HCG pregnant test kits and disposable tumblers to all women who messed up their last month's menstrual period with support from volunteers women collect their urine samples for test. This enables women to start their antennal care ANC within the first trimester -15 weeks.
Community led acute malnutrition management CAMM
The intervention aims at feeding malnourished children for 12 days and providing nutrition health education among parents, caregivers, and volunteers. The Intervention also does nutrition mass screening in the community by assessing child: body weight, height, and MUAC among under-five children.
